Accelerated Private Pilot Certificate (PPC)
Choosing the Private Pilot Certificate (PPC) accelerated program at Fredrickson Aviation comes with several benefits:
- Condensed Training Format: Our program is designed to provide intensive training, minimizing the time and cost associated with traditional flight training methods.
- Experienced Instructors: Our instructors typically teach advanced-level pilots, which means the training you receive goes beyond basic knowledge. You'll gain deeper insights and understanding, making you a more proficient pilot.
Length of Time
Most students complete their PPL training and are ready for their check ride in about 20 days. However, this can vary based on individual progress, weather conditions, and routine maintenance. Rest assured, our training schedule provides the flexibility to accommodate these factors.
Aircraft
We utilize a fleet of three aircraft for flight training; they are our organization's linchpin. Maintenance is one of the keys to our organization's success, and with their expertise, this team keeps us operational. We go beyond the standard requirements that the manufacturers and FAA require.
With our extensive maintenance process, we do not have excessive issues with aircraft being down for long periods. We often replace items before they become an issue, and thus, we keep you flying. This translates into you having more access to the airplanes and completing your training in the allotted time you have. This ensures that you receive consistent, high-quality training on a reliable platform.
Support from Fredrickson Aviation
Our support system ensures you are well-prepared for your check ride. We follow the Fredrickson Aviation Syllabus to track your training progress. Additionally, you will undergo stage checks—mini-check rides conducted by other instructors—to assess your readiness at various stages. This natural progression builds your confidence and readiness for the final check ride, making it less daunting and more manageable.
THE JOURNEY
Embarking on the journey to obtain your PPL is both exciting and challenging. Only 0.05% of the population achieves this milestone, placing you among an elite group of people in the population.
To maximize your success, we recommend spending 2-3 hours on ground study for every hour of flight training. As you get more ratings and certificates, the amount of ground studying will need to increase for every flight hour that you do. A few of the FAA manuals you will need to obtain:
- Airplane pilots handbook
- Pilots handbook of aeronautical knowledge
- FAR/AIM
- Airman Certification Standards (ACS)
When you train with us, we will guide you through the process from start to finish. You are not alone; we are here to help you reach your goals.
